I am actually a really huge fan of hamiltons work. that being said...this definately was not a good one for her. I actually didnt mind that it was so short..i found that refreshing in a way. but honestly...it was only sex. it had no plot, no meaning whatsoever. but YAY! no JC..or Richard. THANK GOD..is it just me or do they just keep getting more and more BORING??

First off I want to say that I love the Anita Blake series. Now with that said, BOO!!! I WAS RIPED OFF!!! This book should have cost a ¼ of the normal cost for this puffed up short story! The book is 245 pages with 12 chapters. Each chapter starts off with 2 ½ to 3 ½ blank pages. (This counts the ½ to full blank page at the end of the chapter) The book is in 12 pt. and double spaced. The whole story could have been told in 3 chapters. And she should have added it to the beginning of some other book. So in hind-sight for you, do not buy this book. I am a slow reader and I read this book in 2 hours. Read the last 3 chapters in a book store. It'll take about 5 min. and you will be up to speed with this series and ready for the next books which are way better.
