A classic reborn, Willow was first published some 25 years ago, and was one of the novels that helped earn Linda Lael Miller the title “First Lady of the West.” Now, in this special edition, she revisits the story with a fresh eye, fleshing out the love scenes, subplots, and characters to give the book new depth and complexity.
Taking us back to 1883 Montana, the story follows Willow, a fiery young beauty who spent part of her childhood in an outlaw camp. Newly married to Gideon, she finds her wedded bliss turning to despair when she learns that he’s on a mission to capture an outlaw—a man who happens to be her brother. Now, she must decide: betray her family, or risk the love she has dreamed of all her life. Or is there another way?

If only she would stick to HISTORICAL western romance I wouldn't miss any. Have a shelf full on my bookcase, but none of those contemporaries. Sad day for those of us who prefer her historicals when she decided to take the easier route and go with contemporaries.

Love all of LLM historical books. Wish she could write them as fast as I am reading them. Hope she keeps writing about the McKettrick's and the Creeds.

This was a great read. I never read her original, but this revision was very good. If she had more historicals in the club I'd buy them, but she's all about contemporaries these days. Not interested. Recommend this one. And if you love superior historical western romance I also very highly recommend Kaki Warner, Jo Goodman, and Jodi Thomas.

This was an excellent read. Gideon was soooo hunky and Willow was feisty and a good match. The storyline was wonderful, full of good guys, bad guys, plot twists and suspense. Highly recommend. And Ms. Miller, PLEASE write more historicals. I simply don't care for contemporaries.
