Thought this one would be a lot better. First novel by DM and sadly my last. Really didn't get into any of the characters. I thought they lacked emotion. Great story line idea, but just never went anywhere. I kept thinking something would happen, but it was a bore all the way through. NOT A FAN!!

Knots Landing meets the Northwest

I dont know what drew me to this series after all this time - but Iam so glad that I discovered it.
I now have a whole town of new friends - they're quirky and fun- but most of all human.
I have found myself laughing on one page and crying on the next- thats how attached I have become to these characters !!
If anyone has ever read Fannie Flagg they will enjoy Debbie just as much if not more
The only draw back is waiting for the next book!!

I thought this had a great story line idea. I liked the idea that a judge would try to help save a marriage, but was disappointed in the cursing and sexual content. I will not read any other books wrote by Debbie Macomber.

There is lots of cursing and sexual content in this book. I don't buy books like this. I returned all the books from Debbie Macomber. I wanted a "Christian" book series to read and that's not what it was.

Cedar Cove Series

I am in LOVE with the Cedar Cove series. It was easy to connect with the characters and get attached. The biggest problem was putting the book down. Now, the worst part is waiting for the next book to come out. Anything Debbie Macomber writes is fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone who loves a great story!
