Meet Jim Heron, an angel with a bad attitude! A brand new novel from J.R. Ward, the #1 bestselling mistress of dark fantasy, Covet introduces us to a hero unlike any other—a fallen angel who rides Harleys, specializes in revenge, and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins… Vin diPietro sold his soul to his business long ago, and he's good with that…until he meets a woman who makes him question everything he’s become. But is it too late to redeem his soul and win her heart? Not if a certain tough-talking angel has his way. With the fate of the world at stake, Jim’s not above a little sinning to get the job done, but can even he prevail when the sexy she-Devil herself takes an interest in the case?

I was hooked from book one on her Dark Dagger Brother series, and I was a little leery this would be too much the same, but exceot for the wild ride and wonderful way J.R. Ward manages to submerge you into her written fantasy world-- Covet and The DDB series are very different stories about very different cultures, but played out in the same town, and with many of the same characters that were in the DDB series.
I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a great, entertaining story. The onlt warning I feel I have to give is that J.R. Ward's fantasy world is quite addictuve---so beware!!!

I really liked this book! Different from her other titles but very nice to see some of the characters make an appearance. Can't wait for the next one!!

I enjoyed the added bonus of knowing when a BDB character was making their appearance in such a slight way. I highly enjoy Ward's style of writing but felt as though there were some chapters where I couldn't really recall what was happening. It was as though I was just reading it to read it. There was a lot of "basic" information that wasn't as interesting as I would have liked. Ward's BDB series demanded my attention every step of the way. Covet, not so much. However I will be awaiting the arrival of the second book! :)
