I have been waiting since the last book where they had the teaser for the rest of the story. I really enjoyed the story line and the characters. I read this book in a day. Just couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next.

This was a well written, all around well read. I was very excited to get this in the mail and couldn't put it down. I read it in less than 2 days. I came away wanting to read more.....can't wait to read more of her future work!!!

The book starts out interesting but then slows way down. This is the second book of the Wherlocke family but it never explains who the characters since they were not mentioned in the first book either. It seemed to be rushed at the end where the middle never seemed to get started. I think that this author should stay with the Scottish themes she does so well.

I usually love Hannah Howell's novels, but this one was pretty bad. It seemed that she was in a hurry to get this out and wasn't worried about the plot. There were half finished sentences (bad editing) and new characters popping up at the end of the book that were treated as if the reader knew who they were. This book probably wouldn't have seemed so bad if Ms Howell's older books weren't so great. Needed more romance and less sci-fi.
