New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller wraps up her McKettrick brothers trilogy with McKettricks of Texas: Austin as the family’s wildest maverick is finally tamed.
The youngest of the McKettrick brothers, Austin has always been the wildest of the bunch ever since they were kids, and time hasn’t changed his daredevil ways. That’s why no one was surprised when he became a world-champion rodeo star…and why he’s hit so hard when he’s bested by an angry bull.
Now, his body battered—and his career over—he’s back at Blue River and the family ranch to recover and brood in peace. That was the plan, anyway. Austin’s brothers have other ideas, hiring former flame Paige Remington as his personal nurse. It’s been ten years since their spectacular breakup, so spending so much time with her shouldn’t be a problem, right? Wrong. The thing is, Paige’s bossy brand of TLC is driving him crazy. And truth be told, her sexy figure is keeping him pretty hot and bothered as well! His answer: fire her. Big mistake. Paige is no hothouse flower. She’s a Texas rose through and through, and—as tough as Austin is—when they have their showdown, she’ll show him that she’s his perfect match in every way.

As always, LLM delivers. Her books are wonderful, letting you give way to a little reprieve from the daily grinds of life. I love the McKettricks and the Creeds. More of them, please!

I love the McKettricks, all of them. I have read every one I can find. You don't have to have a "suspense" story line all the time. I just enjoy their day to day activities and live vicariously in the romantic cowboy scenarios. We all know real life doesn't happen that way, but hey, who cares! Cowboys are hot!

Very slow reading. I think it could have used more substance. I usually like her books but this one was just very shallow.
