Blood Born

Most vampires start out as humans before being turned, but Luca Ambrus is different. He was born a vampire. Blood born. And after wandering the earth for two millennia, he is one of the most powerful vampires in existence. And he’s on the hunt.

An irresistible blend of romance and adventure by Linda Howard, Blood Born follows Luca as he battles a cabal of rogue vampires bent on subjugating the mortal world. His only ally is Chloe Fallon, a human with a mysterious power that rivals his own…and a sensuality that shocks him to the core. Now, bound by love and duty, vampire and human must fight an enemy unlike any they’ve ever known. And if they fail, the worlds of the living and the dead will collide…and there’ll be hell to pay.

Loved It :-)
August 09, 2010

I loved it :-) couldn't put it down. Dark and sexy with some good action and can't wait for the next book in the series Warrior Rising !!! I started not to buy it after reading the some of the reviews, glad I decided to buy it and make up my own mind or I would have missed out on a great book.

Returnable

I love Linda Howard and I love most vampire novels.. however this one had me crossing my eyes. I found myself skipping through to see if it got any better. It did not and I just gave up. Usually I try to finish but I had no interest.

Wouldn't Write Home About It
June 17, 2010

I love Linda Howard's books, but this one didn't hit me in the gut. It was okay! and I mean just okay. It got better toward the end. I wouldn't say I wouldn't buy another of this duo, but I would think hard about it.

ok book

The book was okay, but I found myself skipping pages just to get to it. It was a long drawn out book.

Although it was an ok book, couldn't seem to get into it, because it was just not a Linda Howard mystery as usual. I guess I need to work on letting my authors out of their box.
