Bestselling author Loretta Chase returns with Last Night’s Scandal, a passionate and romantic novel about an unlikely pair who can’t escape each other, no matter how hard they try.
After years of living dangerously in Egypt, Peregrine Dalmay, Earl of Lisle, is back in England to face a peril even he can’t escape—Miss Olivia Wingate-Carsington. Delectable though she may be, this redhead has a long history of dragging him into her scandalous schemes, and this time it’s no different. Determined to have one last adventure before she’s wed into respectability, Olivia takes him on a journey to a gloomy Scottish castle where they must confront spiteful ghosts, craven murderers…and the scary realization that they’re perfect for each other.

We catch up with Olivia and Peregrine as adults. And once again Olivia leads Peregrine ( Lord Lisle now) on a Great Adventure. Loved this book, a perfect combination of old favorites and new adventures. Bravo Ms. Chase.

My review BELOW, belongs to Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage NOT ths book. That's what I get for looking at cover colors and not paying attention to what I was doing. Mea Culpa

I liked this book, but I LOVED the first one, "The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie"is one of my all time Desert Island Keeper books. And as I tried to figure out why I loved the first and not the second...it came to me, Mac and Isabella's story is great, the writing is great, but to me they were not as interesting as Ian and Beth. With that said, this is a good book and a good read. I am looking forward to the last two MacKenzie brothers,Cameron and Hart, with Cameron's story being next.
