Colleen Coble writes romantic mysteries because she loves to see justice—and true love—prevail. In Lonestar Angel, a couple loses their little girl—and the love they thought would last forever.
Eden and Clay Larson’s baby was stolen five years ago. The kidnappers demanded a ransom, but their car crashed into the river and the exchange never happened. Their marriage ended but now Clay tells Eden he thinks their daughter is at a youth ranch in Texas. They become counselors at the ranch to find out more, and, as they work closely together, their love is rekindled.
When danger closes in, Eden and Clay realize they’ve been purposely lured to this remote location and their lives—and the lives of all the children—are in danger.

From the beginning there is action and mystery. I liked the way Colleen wove in all the characters in the story, especially the children and the suspense was held until the end with a surprise ending! Nice.
